Sammy J is a Melbourne-based comedian, actor and writer.In 2006, Sammy took out the coveted ‘Best Newcomer’ award at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. 2007 included an appearance on Spicks and Specks, sell-out seasons at the Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, a two-month national tour with the Comedy Festival Roadshow, a four-star debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and a Green Room nomination for Best Emerging Cabaret Artiste. He is self-taught on piano and has composed over 100 original comedy songs.
